Q. How soon can I expect results from Vitality Science products?
A. Over the years we have gotten a very wide range of responses.
Results are all the way from animals that have been sick for years and stabilize with one dose of Pet Flora to animals that need an entire
Treatment-Resistant Protocol and slowly stabilize over weeks and months. However, the severity and frequency of the condition should show an
improvement starting within a few days. If you do not see any improvement after a few days contact customer service
Q. How much is shipping? And, how long does delivery take?
A. U.S.A. orders under $49.95 are a flat rate of $6.50 for Priority Mail. We pay for any overweight charges. Orders $49.95 and up are shipped for FREE by Priority Mail. Priority Mail should arrive in 2-3 days and in more than 95% of the cases actually does arrive in 2-3 days.
Q. What countries do you ship? And, how long does delivery take?
A. The countries of Austria, Denmark, Germany, Nigeria, Portugal, Spain, and Switzerland will not accept a package of herbal products from the U.S. at this time.
We only ship Priority and the shipment time is approximately 7-10 days. If you do not see your country in the shipping drop down box, email us and we will add your country.
Q. What is the guarantee policy?
A. We have a very strong guarantee because our products are so incredibly effective. Our long term success rate
with treatment-resistant diarrhea and vomiting is 97%. This means that the combination of one or more of our products and our consultation, for less than $100 and in less than a few weeks, there is a 97% chance your cat or dog will stabilize.
However, we do have a few conditions. We ask that you try our products for thirty days and be in touch with customer service before asking for a refund. In addition, we ask for you to be fair with us. It is not fair to use our products to treat pets that have been sick for extended periods of time, taking many drugs, and on the verge of death, and then ask for your money back after the pet dies.
Of course, any unopened product can always be sent back.
Q. How do I use the Treatment-Resistant Diarrhea and Vomiting Protocol?
A. Think of the Treatment-Resistant Protocol as a super First Aid Kit. It contains a synergistic collection of the most effective,
and yet gentle, natural remedies for gastrointestinal problems in cats and dogs. You may need only one product, two, or all three of the products to
reestablish stability. Start with the Feline/Canine Comfort Plus as that is the one with the best success rate. Then, in order of effectiveness,
add the GI Distress, and then the Luxolite. All of these products are very safe and can be given with great benefit to all pets healthy and sick,
young and old.
Q. How do I know which product or group of products to buy?
A. The choice of products depends very much upon the condition of your pet.
We break down the different degrees of gastrointestinal and immune impairment on our CAT PRODUCTS & DOG PRODUCTS pages.
Even with the best information and intuition a large amount of uncertainty may still exist. After all, healing is a mysterious process.
That is why we recommend comprehensive protocols like the Longevity and Treatment-Resistant packages.
Q. Where do I get customer support?
A. We answer the phones (1-866-647-4898) 24 hours a day. We offer technical support 16 hours a day, seven days a week. And, we answer email in less than a day and often within a few minutes.
Q. Are Pet FloraTM and your other products safe for kittens and puppies?
A. Yes. Kennels and breeders are having wonderful results treating puppies and kittens during that stressful period when they are taken off weaning and maintaining their health over the long term.
Q. My cat has had intestinal problems, diarrhea and vomiting, since birth. Will Pet Flora work for her?
A. When animals have a long standing, treatment resistant, GI problem, then try the Pet Flora and the Herbal Anti-Inflammatory. Many animals are returned to normal by doing this. However, if this does not work, you will have to add the Super Pet Enzymes and the Lithothamnium. This multi-factorial program has helped many so-called incurable cases.
Q. Is Pet Flora good for my cat as a supplement?
A. Pet FloraTM may be given on a regular basis, and many people do this. However, Feline Comfort and Vital Pet Lipids are specifically formulated for every day use.
Q.Can I use Pet Flora as nutritional immune defense? My cat has a cold.
A. Absolutely. According to the Royal Society of London, more than 90% of all immunity is mediated by the GI tract. The GI tract is a second brain, transmutating the "other" (food) into the self. Part of that process involves coordinating acceptability and non-acceptability. In other words, discriminating between the good and bad bugs. When the body is under attack, the first line of defense is the Gi tract, and the most important weapon for that defense line is microbiological balance--the premier action of Pet Flora.
Q. What are Soil Based Organisms?
A. Soil Based Organisms (SBOs) are living microrganisms that are natural residents of the soil. They serve many important functions both for plants and animals.
Q. Are SBOs safe?
A. Numerous microbiological organisms are approved for human consumption. Acidophilus is the most well known. But many others are involved in everything from cheese manufacture to beer and wine making. Microbiological agents are classified as Class 1, 2, 0r 3. Only Class 1 agents, such as acidophilus, are approved for human consumption. All the strains of SBOs in Pet Flora are Class 1 agents.
Q. What are the specific organisms in Pet Flora?
A. Pet Flora contains a spectrum of 29 microflora, that fall into the following eleven categories: Acinetobacter, Arthrobacter, Azospirillum, Azotobacter Bacillus, Bacteroides, Brevibacterium, Kurtha, Myrothecium P, chrysosporium, Pseudomonas, and Streptomyces. The proliferation of these microflora into their 29 plus sub-species variations is promoted by the prebiotic complexes, the humic and fulvic acids. All twelve seed species are Class One Microbiological agents and approved by the FDA for human and animal consumption.
Q. My dogs diarrhea has gone away but now he is very hyper. What happened?
A. Diarrhea and low quality commercial pet food cause a severe nutrient deficiency. Pet Flora causes food to be assimilated more efficiently. In some dogs, this causes a temporary energetic reaction. If it lasts more than a day or two, your dog needs a calcium supplement. We sell Lithothamnium, a marvelous calcium supplement derived from algae.
Q. What do SBOs do in the soil and why are they beneficial for animals?
A. They condition the soil by deacidifying it and by suppressing the excessive growth of yeasts, fungus, and other microorganisms that would interfere with plant metabolism. In the intestinal tract of animals, SBOs carry out exactly the same function as they do in the soil. They suppress excess yeast and fungus and alkalinize the intestinal environment.
Q. What does deacidification have to do with my pet's intestinal problem?
A. Commercial pet foods create large amounts of unsafe acids. Animals instinctively try to counteract these acids by grazing on grass and other lawn plants. But since these are loaded with chemicals they only make the problem of acidity worse. Your pet's body then seeks to expel these acids. A normalization of intestinal and cellular acidity is a powerful force to stabilize intestinal function.
Q. Probiotics are quite popular these days, but why are they beneficial?
A. Digestion is a complex process involving acids, enzymes, and microrganisms. The digestive process includes fermentation. Food undergoing digestion is a living biomass aided by huge quantities of one celled animals. Up to half of every evacuation is composed of microroganisms. The other half is unusable food material. More than five hundred species of bacteria inhabit animal intestinal tracts. When that population becomes unbalanced due to acidic food, antibiotics, or pathogens, then the body reacts by expelling them as quickly as possible. This process is either vomiting or diarrhea. Pet Flora reestablishes intestinal balance.
Q. Will Pet Flora interfere with my pet's medications?
A. In over twenty-five years of world wide research on the SBOs in Pet Flora, no instance of conflict with pharmaceuticals has ever been reported. In fact, and quite surprising, Pet Flora actually helps antibiotics to work better. You will help your pet by giving them Pet Flora during and after antibiotic therapy.
Q. Does my veterinarian know about Pet Flora
A. Many progressive vets are aware that probiotics can have a dramatic effect on pets health. But, their familiarity is based on a host of products that don't work very well. Have your vet call or email us for more information.
Q. Can we give the capsules with any liquid, or only with water?
A. Any liquid will work. Water, though, should be free of chlorine and fluorine and other industrial chemicals. Industrial chemicals kill the SBOs.
Q. What is the best time to give Pet Flora
A. Three hours before or after the last meal is the best. But Pet Flora is still highly effective even taken with food and the high acidity produced by the digestive processes.
Q. Why should I give my dog Pet Flora instead of antibiotics or herbal products like slippery elm?
A. Antibiotics, herbs, and even medicines like Pepto Bismol have their place in fighting infection and soothing the intestines. Pet Flora can be used alone or in conjunction with these products. The important fact to remember is that Pet Flora is fundamental to a complete recovery. Without reestablishing normal flora in the intestinal tract, all other treatments will be temporary and partial. By maintaining normal flora, all other treatments will work better than they would alone.
Q. What should I do if the diarrhea or vomiting does not improve within 24 hours?
A. Stop the Pet Flora. Intestinal inflammation must be addressed first. This can be done with our Herbal Anti-Inflammatory, Super Pet Enzymes, and Lithothamnium.
