Cause for Constant Diarrhea in Pets

Likely Causes There are several likely causes for constant diarrhea in pets.

Bugs and Lizards Cats and Dogs love to stalk. Some bugs have built-in toxic defense glands; others are toxic because of exposure to pesticides.

Hairballs pose a potential danger by blocking the passage of digested food through the intestines, causing an impaction.

Since hair is not easily digested, it can compact with undigested food in the stomach and gastrointestinal tract. Compactions can cause painful constipation.

Commercial Pet Food is another likely suspect. Open bags of dry food or canned food left out too long are potential breeding grounds for bacteria. They also attract bugs, and mice that leave droppings, as well as eggs that get eaten by your pets.

Household Cleaning Agents Your pets spend most of their lives close to the floor. They breathe in toxic agents and lick their paws, consuming them. Toxic agents are a cause of skin problems.

Premature Weaning can weaken your pet’s immune system for life. Kittens and Puppies need a full term of mothers milk in order to develop strong immune systems. Premature Weaning is an overlooked cause, and the likely cause of many cats now being lacto-intolerant.

Health of Mother A healthy mother is far more likely to produce healthy offspring. She should be well cared for before, during, and throughout weaning.

Fully 90% of all chronic diseases are caused by an unhealthy intestinal system!

Veterinarians Dilemma Not knowing the actual cause of constant diarrhea makes treating pets difficult. Vets are likely to prescribe a broad spectrum antibiotic just to cover all the bases, plus they tell you withhold food and water for a few days. This is rough on your pet.
By eating what our bodies need to stay healthy, we minimize illness and disease. In our dogs, this also means we are eliminating costly medical bills and extended hospital stays. It also means a more attentive partner in obedience class, a more energetic and good natured playmate at the local dog park and a more content companion around the house.
Vets are beginning to use Pet Flora

as a cat, dog natural remedy. So can you!

Pet Flora is the "missing link" to both healthy and unhealthy pets. If your pet does not respond within a few hours of double doses of Pet Flora, most likely their intestinal wall is inflamed. The inflammation must be resolved before Pet Flora can be effective. We offer a range of products to address chronic GI conditions.

Feline Comfort and Canine Comfort were specifically formulated for advanced GI conditions.
