Treatment Resistant Diarrhea and/or Vomiting Protocol

Our Treatment Resistant Protocol was developed in response to feedback from customers who purchased one of our individual products in an attempt to resolve their cat’s diarrhea and vomiting. What we found was some of these customers needed more than one remedy to see a full recovery.

From that feedback, the comprehensive protocol was developed. The Treatment-Resistant Protocol is a targeted collection of safe, natural products to address all of the known underlying factors in cat diarrhea and vomiting, which includes gastrointestinal distress of all kinds. You may need one, two, or all six products to stabilize your pet. Whatever combination is necessary, your cat will stabilize with the protocol. We know this is true from our 97% success rate treating over 4000 cats and dogs.

Symptoms
The symptoms of treatment-resistant feline diarrhea and or vomiting are one or more of the following:

Diarrhea or vomiting that fails to respond to conventional treatment or therapies
  Extreme lethargy
Finicky eater. Just picking at food. No appetite.
  Bloody stools
Pain and yelping when passing stools
Our Treatment-Resistant Protocol works better than anything else because it addresses all the vectors contributing to cat diarrhea and cat vomiting. At the same time, the products are beneficial for healthy cats.
Treatment resistant GI upset is far more complex than routine, acute or even chronic, GI upset. The problem is deeper than routine therapies, and requires a more involved remedy. Often, in chronic cases it is a multitude of factors, which is why traditional treatments are a hit and miss process.
The Treatment-Resistant Protocol comes with a one hour email or telephone consultation to guide you along the road to success.
Causes
Treatment-resistant cat diarrhea and or vomiting can be caused by any one or combination of these factors:

Over vaccination, or even one vaccination. Vaccines contain heavy metals, carcinogenic chemicals, genetically modified organisms, and assorted animal proteins.
  Overuse of antibiotics and steroids.
When these stressors are combined with poor quality food and lack of proper supplementation, the result is a fundamental imbalance often displaying as cat diarrhea or cat vomiting.
Left unattended, this bacterial imbalance leads to more frequent diarrhea and vomiting, quickly followed by inflammation. In treatment resistant cases, the intestinal wall inflammation is so severe that the two-way supply line to the body gets cut off. When this happens nutrients cannot be absorbed; neither can waste products be eliminated. This sets the stage for a very toxic environment. The longer this is allowed to go on, the sicker your cat.
Benefits
Benefits of the Treatment-Resistant Feline Diarrhea and or Vomiting Protocol are:

By using a multi-factorial approach, our Treatment Resistant Protocol addresses the intestinal wall inflammation, acidity, infection, nutrient uptake, and dysbiosis (microbiological imbalance) common in treatment resistant cat diarrhea and cat vomiting. This is the fastest and safest way to get your cat well!
Testimonials
Many thanks, once again, for your excellent products. My adopted 10-year-old Abyssinian's health has turned around completely, since employing (most of) the diarreah-resistant protocol: the vomiting has stopped completely (except to rid herself of hairballs), her stools are vastly improved, she's less nervous, more affectionate, and has more energy ... yeah!!

My cat Dakota is a 1 -2 years old neutered rescue cat; alternating between diaherrea and loose stools (cow pie consistency). I originally ordered your complete protocol for cats. He was still having no firm stools after the first week on the program.

He is the cat which was diagnosed with tritrich and we gave him the ronidazole pills; and he lived to tell the story.

You had me change him to 10 drops (2 x daily) of the herbal anti-inflammatory and 4 drops of the soothing solution (2 x daily). I had dropped the feline comfort (wasnt making it worse, but wasnt helping either) and the probiotic didnt work (had already tried one through his vet). I also had him on 2 capsules of lithothamnium and a total of 3 tsp. of luxolite, in tsp. doses. You had me follow that protocol for approximately 10 days. He was still having the cow pies, but the rumbling in his stomach had finally stopped.

When I spoke with you again for an order of luxolite you suggested integrating the Feline Comfort a pinch at a time into his diet. You sent me a bottle of the new soothing solution and suggested moving him to Wellness Core dry food. He had been on the Royal Canin green pea & duck limited ingredient wet and dry. Ideally you wanted me to work up to the tsp. dosage of the Feline Comfort. I believe when I give him the full amount of Feline Comfort, his stools become less firm, so Im only using tsp.

Shortly after re-introducing the feline comfort, his stools firmed up. His stools are still not as dry as they could be, BUT they are definitely holding their shape. I was backing him off the herbal anti-inflammatory when it ran out and I have changed him from 2 lithothamnium capsules back to one.

Thanks for all your help (if I had emailed you in the first place, I wouldnt have had to re-invent the wheel!). I believe the above is a fairly accurate rendition of what you and I have spoken about re: Dakota and his ongoing treatment.

Dosage/Ingredients
Administration:

Treatment-Resistant Protocol comes with complete directions. It is actually quite simple to use despite the total of six products.
Two feedings covers everything. All the products except the Herbal Anti-Inflammatory can be mixed into wet food or mixed with water or chicken broth and added to dry food. In the second feeding everything except the Pet Flora and the Feline Comfort can be mixed into wet food or mixed with water and added to dry food. For the most finicky cats, the mixtures can be administered with an oral syringe. However, most cats like the taste and readily eat the supplements.

Dosage
See labels and individual products for recommended dosages..

Very Grateful For Your Products April 13, 2007
Reviewer: Deborah Simpson from Manchester, MA United States
I have two 5 1/2 month old himalayan kittens, one of which has had chronic diarrhea since I took her home from the breeder at 12 weeks.

After the usual vet course of worming, antibiotics, antivirals, the vet suggested Metamucil.  Almost all types of cat food went right through her system; even the premium canned foods.  I started feeding her Wellness canned kitten formula, and had some degree of success in preventing the horribly runny and smelly stools.  However, I am happy to let you know that the full Feline Protocol has resulted in solid stools in only two days time.  Her appetite seems more stable also; I can't tell you the number of times she would eat a couple of bites of food and then walk away from her bowl.  Obviously, her digestive system was not functioning well, and your products have calmed and regulated the digestive process.

I am very grateful for your products; I am going to email my vet, and let her know of the success.

Kudos March 23, 2007
Reviewer: Shelby Markum from Overland Park, KS
After three years of constant diarrhea my now 17 year old cat is finally producing firm stools. In the three years, my cat was given multiple cortisone shots that taxed his heart. He was put on an incredibly expensive "non allergenic" food. There were other attempts at stopping the diarrhea to include giving him over the counter meds. However, these attempts all failed. I was desperate to find anything that would help my big guy (17lbs!). I found it here! Stephen has provided ongoing support and suggestions along the way.  My cat had more energy than he had exhibited in years. His stools also changed as soon as the Comfort was added. The Luxolite though has been the key. As soon as the Luxolite was added the stools started being more firm. This regimen is working for my cat whereas all of the veterinary prescriptions failed or were challenging to other systems.
The probiotics and Luxolite are all natural and my cat has responded positively!  Thank you
